INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AMR & BACTERIOPHAGES: A ONE HEALTH APPROACH

3-5th September 2026
Davangere, Karnataka, India
Uniting Global Experts to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance through Phage Innovation

About the Conference

The conference will be organized around the central theme, "Combating Antimicrobial Resistance through Bacteriophages – A One Health Perspective," addressing one of the most critical global health challenges. The deliberations will highlight the potential of bacteriophages as effective alternatives and adjuncts to antibiotics, while integrating perspectives from human health, veterinary sciences, agriculture, fisheries, and the environment, in true alignment with the One Health approach.

The conference is expected to attract delegates primarily from medical institutions, along with distinguished researchers, clinicians, academicians, and students from veterinary sciences, agriculture, and fisheries. This multidisciplinary participation will encourage cross-sectoral dialogue and collaboration, essential for developing holistic strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, along with dedicated undergraduate and postgraduate oral and poster presentation sessions designed to promote student participation and capacity building.

Special emphasis will be placed on recognizing excellence and innovation among participants. Undergraduate and postgraduate presenters will have opportunities to compete for various awards under different categories, including best oral presentation, best poster presentation, and theme-based awards aligned with the conference focus. These awards aim to motivate young researchers, enhance scientific rigor, and encourage high-quality research outputs.

In addition to academic enrichment, the conference will serve as an effective platform for networking and collaboration, enabling participants to explore opportunities for joint research projects, institutional partnerships, and publications in reputed journals. All presenters and participants will be awarded certificates of participation or presentation, reinforcing the conference's commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and recognition of scholarly contributions.
